Twin Pine Casino to Host Bay Area Entertainment with Ranell Carpenter Band

Twin Pine Casino and Hotel brings in some of the most talented performers from the local area and around the country to create quality Bay Area entertainment. The Ranell Carpenter Band is a prime example. With an engaging mix of original blues and R&B standards, Ranell and her band wow audiences wherever they go.

About Ranell Carpenter

Born and raised in the small town of Placerville, California, 45 miles east of Sacramento, Ranell Carpenter grew up loving family, horseback riding, and competitive sports. She also wrote poetry and lyrics from a young age, but didn’t discover her love of singing until she was in her later teens. After the loss of her father in 2010, she decided to pursue a singing career and found herself as the lead vocalist for the Ice House Blues Band.

Calistoga Hotel Twin Pine to Host Indian Day Celebration on September 17

Twin Pine Hotel and Casino is an enterprise of the Middletown Rancheria of Pomo Indians of California. This Calistoga hotel and the Tribe will be hosting an Indian Day Celebration on Saturday, September 17. The event will include traditional dance groups, complimentary native cuisine (while supplies last), and handmade crafts as a way to help visitors develop an understanding of, and appreciation for, native culture in general and the Pomo Indians of California in particular.

History and Culture of the Tribe

In the 1800s, descendants of the Lake Miwok Indians had found themselves landless and homeless. To remedy the situation, the Middletown Rancheria was established in July 1910 on 108 acres of land purchased by the small Tribe. Members of other Tribal groups including Pomo, Wappo, and Wintun then joined with the People of the Tribe.

Tips for Hosting a Productive Offsite Meeting at a Napa Casino

Offsite meetings are a great way to escape the chaos of the office so your team can focus on important projects and also build great chemistry. However, fun, productive meetings don’t just happen. In order for your event to be successful, there are a number of things you should keep in mind.

First and foremost is to hold your meeting at a facility that understands business events, like Twin Pine’s Napa Valley Casino. Below are some additional suggestions.

To get the most out of your event, you should:

Set goals and discuss “rules of engagement.”

Without a set of clearly defined goals, it’s easy for a meeting to get off track. Be sure your team knows what the goals are before you arrive. And be sure that all attendees understand that the meeting space is a “safe zone” where the focus is on positive contributions rather than criticism.
