Twin Pine Hotel and Casino is an enterprise of the Middletown Rancheria of Pomo Indians of California. This Calistoga hotel and the Tribe will be hosting an Indian Day Celebration on Saturday, September 17. The event will include traditional dance groups, complimentary native cuisine (while supplies last), and handmade crafts as a way to help visitors develop an understanding of, and appreciation for, native culture in general and the Pomo Indians of California in particular.
History and Culture of the Tribe
In the 1800s, descendants of the Lake Miwok Indians had found themselves landless and homeless. To remedy the situation, the Middletown Rancheria was established in July 1910 on 108 acres of land purchased by the small Tribe. Members of other Tribal groups including Pomo, Wappo, and Wintun then joined with the People of the Tribe.

There’s nothing like having the perfect wine to complement a delicious entree. At Manzanita Restaurant in the Twin Pine Casino and Hotel in Middletown, we pair Napa and Lake County wines with several courses at our Wine Pairing Dinners to show our guests what a big difference the right vintage can make.
In September we’ll be introducing those who aren’t yet familiar with Fults Family Vineyards to their spectacular wines. Our pairing dinner with a wine tasting menu will be on Friday, September 23, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Reservations are recommended.

In the Napa Valley, the place to go for great live music and unique acts is Twin Pine Casino and Hotel. In mid-September you’ll be treated to a “country” band that isn’t your typical country band. Branded has a one-of-a-kind style that turns a simple concert into an amazing musical experience. The lasers, lights, and smoke are your cue that you’re about to see something new — country music, party style!
Based in Sacramento, Branded is a band that Sacramento Magazine called the “Biggest Small Band” in the city. After you see their show, you understand why. This group of highly skilled, high-energy musicians travels with a professional sound engineer and a full lighting crew that helps them put on a memorable “event” every time they play.

Offsite meetings are a great way to escape the chaos of the office so your team can focus on important projects and also build great chemistry. However, fun, productive meetings don’t just happen. In order for your event to be successful, there are a number of things you should keep in mind.
First and foremost is to hold your meeting at a facility that understands business events, like Twin Pine’s Napa Valley Casino. Below are some additional suggestions.
To get the most out of your event, you should:
Set goals and discuss “rules of engagement.”
Without a set of clearly defined goals, it’s easy for a meeting to get off track. Be sure your team knows what the goals are before you arrive. And be sure that all attendees understand that the meeting space is a “safe zone” where the focus is on positive contributions rather than criticism.
